Don't forget to celebrate life every Sunday
Our Sunday Life Celebrations begin every Sunday at 11:00 AM.  We are re-inventing what used to be called "church."  Live music, guided meditations, singing, chanting, dancing and an inclusive message of self-empowerment is what you'll find... along with a community of heart  opened humans. Stay awhile and partake in a free community brunch.  This is a perfect opportunity to access spiritual community... an  important component of any life journey.

Laughter Yoga is good for ya!
It's just what the doctor ordered.

The Madison Laughter Club presents their Laughter Yoga Workshop every
Sunday from 2:30-3:30PM at the CCL.  So, just what is
Laughter Yoga?  It's a group activated, consciously
generated laughing experience.  But it's no laughing
matter.  Scientific research has documented the benefits of
laughter.  It increases oxygen to the brain, reduces stress,
enhances immune function (not to be sneezed at), and
raises endorphin and neurotransmitter levels.  Once you've
tried it you'll be wondering why you haven't been doing
this your whole life.  Your free will donations are welcomed
and go to help support all the Center's activities.

Slo-Mo Stretching w/Dan Murphy Mondays, 5:45-6:45PM
Much of what we call exercise these days involves loud music, hard, fast movement and a lot of pain.  This is the opposite.  This is a stress reducing stretching and self-massage class drawing on the ancient technolgies of Tai Chi and Qigong.  This class will be extremely beneficial to anyone seeking to rehab or just relax.  These exercises are non-competetive, at your own pace and bring the benefits of wellness, improved immunity and flexibility.  If your work involves high stress, physical labor or you're just on your feet all day, then this class is definitely for you.  Bring a yoga mat or large towel and wear loose clothingl.  A $5-$10 donation is suggested.

Zumba your tushie on Tuesdays!
P
lease join us on Tuesdays at 6:30PM for an hour of aerobic exercise to 4000 watts of Latin music with live conga and percussion provided by the Center's own Sonny Montuno.  Certified Zumba leader Lynn Richgels will facilitate this fitness party, so even if you've never Zumba'd before... in fact even if you think you can't dance... you'll be sweating off calories and boosting cardiac and immune function in no time, all while trying unsuccessfully to wipe that silly grin off your face.  $10 walk-in, with bargain packages available.

Tuesday African Dance classes with Maya Kadakia
Don't miss this fabulous opportunity to try something you've always been curious about.  Seasoned performer Maya brings her experience and knowledge to the Center every Tuesday evening from 7:30-9PM.  With live African drummers providing accompaniment, these classes are guaranteed to shake your soul.  This is a rigorous workout, so come prepared to sweat.  $12 walk-in, with bargain packages available.  A portion of the fee goes to help support Center operations.

Wednesday evening Vinyasa Yoga w/Cass Hanson
Balanced Tray Yoga classes are one-hour, vinyasa yoga classes, held from 5:30-6:30pm on Wednesday evenings. The class consists of a foundation-building flow of poses, accessible to all levels of yoga practitioners, with more challenging variations for experienced students. "Balanced Tray Yoga" refers to balancing the aspects of an active and often stressful life, through the teachings of yoga asana. Specifically, BTY classes are intended to help alleviate physical and mental tension resulting from working. These Balanced Tray Yoga classes are taught by Catherine (Cass) Hanson, 200 RYT.  Classes are $10.

Now Every Wednesday!   7:30-9:30PM

Yamuna Body Rolling w/Laura Flanagan, MS, RYT

Yamuna Body Rolling is a revolutionary approach to health and fitness using balls designed exclusively for this practice.  Unlike other ball exercises, YBR goes beyond random movement and stretching.  It allows you to work specific muscles in detail, to create suppleness in tight areas and optimize range of motion.  YBR re-educates muscles and stimulates bone, creating positive, permanent changes in the body.
