Wednesday evening Vinyasa Yoga w/Cass Hanson
Balanced Tray Yoga classes are one-hour, vinyasa yoga classes, held from 5:30-6:30pm
on Wednesday evenings. The class consists of a foundation-building flow of poses, accessible to all levels of yoga practitioners, with more challenging variations for experienced students. "Balanced Tray Yoga" refers to balancing the aspects of an active and often stressful life, through the teachings of yoga asana. Specifically, BTY classes are intended to help alleviate physical and mental tension resulting from working. Practicing yoga can be very helpful to not only release this tension, but also to strengthen the body and mind, to be more adept at 'carrying' the load of stress that may occur from active lifestyles. These Balanced Tray Yoga classes are taught by Catherine (Cass) Hanson, 200 RYT.
Classes are $10.

Laughter Yoga is good for ya!
It's just what the doctor ordered.
The Madison Laughter Club presents their Laughter Yoga Workshop
every
Sunday from 2:30-3:30PM at the CCL. So, just what is
Laughter Yoga? It's a group activated, consciously
generated laughing experience. But it's no laughing
matter. Scientific research has documented the benefits of
laughter. It increases oxygen to the brain, reduces stress,
enhances immune function (not to be sneezed at), and
raises endorphin and neurotransmitter levels. Once you've
tried it you'll be wondering why you haven't been doing
this your whole life. Your free will donations are welcomed
and go to help support all the Center's activities.
Sunday Hoopin' is great fun!
Sunday
afternoons are all about "Hoopin' It Up" at the CCL. Hula hooping to dance music is not only more fun than humans should be allowed to have, it's great exercise. An hour of hula hooping burns hundreds of calories. Join this fabulous Madison community in a celebration of joyful movement . Action starts at 4PM and goes 'til 6. Bring your own hoop or one will be provided for you. Your free will donations help support the Center's operation. Take a look at some of our hoopers in action by clicking here.
